In recent years, there have been some significant developments in the way we define and report on our stewardship work:
Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative
Climate change is not going away. The greatest risk today is one of inaction. That’s why we’re proud to be one of the signatories to the Net Zero Asset Management (NZAM) initiative committed to supporting the goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner. Our NZAM Action Plan describes how we are using the levers at our disposal to achieve this goal.
UK Stewardship Code Report
In 2020, the UK Stewardship Code came into effect, setting higher stewardship standards for asset managers, asset owners, and service providers. From 2021, we started publishing an annual UK Stewardship Code Report, which shows how we comply with the Code on behalf of our clients.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY REPORT 2024
We seek to hold ourselves to the same high standards we expect from our investee entities. In particular, we aim to reduce our impact on the environment, act responsibly with respect to the welfare of our stakeholders and have a positive impact on our wider community.
