Camilla Ritchie
Camilla Ritchie is a fund manager with 7IM and has managed the 7IM Sustainable Balance fund since inception in 2007. In addition she is part of the ESG team at 7IM which is looking to reduce carbon emissions across the business and within the 7IM funds as a whole, holding fund managers of the funds held within the 7IM funds to account on their ESG credentials and producing 7IM’s Stewardship Report. Her early career saw her managing ethical portfolios for private clients which was helpful in developing her interests in sustainability. As head of a Service charity she was involved in raising funds to provide respite holidays for disadvantaged Service children.

Professor Cameron Hepburn
Cameron Hepburn is Director of the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. He is also Professor of Environmental Economics at the Smith School and at the Institute for New Economic.
Thinking at the Oxford Martin School. He is a Professorial Research Fellow of The Grantham Research Institute at the London School of Economics and a Fellow at New College, Oxford. He is an expert in environmental, resource and energy economics and is involved in policy formation, including as a member of the DECC Secretary of State’s Economics Advisory Group. Cameron has advised governments (such as China, India, UK and Australia) and international institutions (e.g. OECD, UN organisations) on energy, resources and environmental policy.

Sir John Beddington
Sir John is Senior Advisor to the Oxford Martin School and Professor of Natural Resource Management at Oxford University, from 2008 until 2013 he was the Government Chief Scientific Adviser (GCSA) reporting directly to the Prime Minister. As GCSA, he was responsible for increasing scientific capacity across Whitehall. During his time as GCSA he set up the Scientific Advisory Group in Emergencies (SAGE) that reported to the COBRA committee. He is a Non-Executive Director of the Met Office, chairs the Cabot Institute External Board at Bristol University, the Global Academies Panel at Edinburgh University and the Systemic Risk Institute at the LSE.

Heidi Hellmann
Heidi is the Chairman of the Advisory Panel and Group Head of Strategy & Environment for Centrica, where she has been a member of the board for Centrica Innovations, the group’s corporate venture arm, and SNRG, a PropTech company backed by Centrica. She was previously Head of Strategy at BG Group and held various strategy roles at Royal Dutch Shell. Heidi has over 25 years’ experience working in the oil and gas and power sectors, having started her career at Exxon in 1991. She has an MBA in Finance and Multinational Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University.

Claire Perry O’Neill
Claire co-chairs the WBCSD Global Imperatives Advisory Board and is a Board Director for Scottish Power and Climate Impact X, a Singapore-based global carbon exchange. She is also a Senior Global Advisor for Mckinsey and Company, an advisor to the international investment firm Hambro Perks and an Advisory Board Member for Protium Green Solutions Ltd.
Prior to this, Claire had a career in politics where she served as Transport Minister and then Minister of State for Energy and Clean Growth in the UK Cabinet. She also successfully led the UK’s winning bid to host COP26 and was appointed COP26 President-Designate until she left politics in 2020 to head the Climate and Energy team at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), the world’s leading corporate sustainability organisation.

Adil is responsible for third-party fund research and has over 12 years financial industry experience.
Adil joined Sarasin & Partners in September 2018 from Quilter Cheviot where he was primarily in charge of covering Fixed Income, Alternatives and Sector third-party funds research.
Adil started his career at AXA Investment Managers in 2008 and gained experience amongst various teams including distribution, risk management, asset allocation and eventually became a generalist Analyst within the Multimanager team.
He has an Eq Bachelor degree in Economics from Universite Pierre Mendès France, France, a master in Management from ESCEM Business School, France as well as a Master in Science from the London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. Adil is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Managing Partner
Guy was appointed as Managing Partner in June 2016, having previously been Chief Operating Officer since 2010 and prior to that Chief Financial Officer of the Sarasin (UK) Group from 2002 until 2010. He is Chairman on the Executive Committee and a member of the Product Strategy Group.
He started his career at Smith and Williamson where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990. He spent a year at the Investment Management Regulatory Organisation (IMRO) on secondment and joined Sarasin & Partners in 1994 where he had responsibility for the financial accounts, compliance, corporate strategy and fund administration.
Guy is a Chartered Accountant, and was also formerly the Chairman of the FSA’s Smaller Businesses Practitioner Panel and a member of the FSA’s Practitioner Panel.

Alex is a Partner in Sarasin & Partners LLP and co-heads Sarasin Bread Street, a specialist private markets business formed in 2022. Prior to this he co-founded Bread Street Capital Partners, held senior investment roles at Janus Henderson, Aberdeen Standard Investments (now abrdn) and Deutsche Asset Management, and started his career with Franklin Templeton in 1993.
Alex has a wealth of private markets investing experience having led two LSE-listed investment companies (Aberdeen Private Equity Fund Ltd, Henderson Alternative Strategies Trust plc), and has managed pension fund mandates for corporates, UK local authorities, government agencies, life companies, and endowments. He chaired Aberdeen’s award-winning Defined Contribution pension scheme and is current Chairman of the City of London Corporation’s Audit & Risk Management Committee.
Alex has an MA in Economics and Accountancy from Aberdeen University, passed the inaugural Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme at Säid Business School, and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.

Partner, Charities
Oliver joined Sarasin & Partners in September 2008 having previously spent his 20-year fund management career at HSBC (formerly James Capel & Co) where he was Head of Charities. In addition to specialising in the management of charity portfolios, he leads on the subject of Social Impact Investments, and is responsible for the Sarasin Corporate Social Responsibility Report. Oliver previously was a trustee of both I CAN, a specialist speech and language charity for children with communication difficulties, as well as the Prostate Cancer Research Centre. He is an Associate of the Securities Institute, and is on the Board of the Charity Investors’ Group (CIG) and the Durham University Student Investment Fund.

Daniel Belfer has been CEO of Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd since November 2019 and chairs the Group Executive Board. He is also Chairman of Sarasin & Partners LLP and of bank zweiplus ltd. Prior to that, he had been responsible for the Trading, Treasury and Asset Management Division since 2013. Daniel Belfer has held leadership roles within the J. Safra Group for 20 years. In 2010, he moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where he joined Banque J. Safra (Suisse) SA from Bank J. Safra Sarasin (Bahamas) Ltd, where had been CEO and a member of the Board of Directors since 2008. He became Head of Trading at Safra National Bank of New York in 2004, having held responsibility for Fixed Income Trading and Structured Products since 2000, when he joined Safra National Bank of New York. Daniel Belfer began his professional career in 1997 at BancBoston Robertson Stephens Inc. in Boston, USA; in the Emerging Markets Sales, Trading & Research department.
Born in 1975, Daniel Belfer is a Brazilian citizen and lives in Geneva, Switzerland. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and is a CFA® charterholder.

Phil has over 14 years of financial services experience working in both Life and Pensions and investment management. He joined Sarasin and Partners in 2019 from Seven Investment Management to look after our financial adviser relationships in the North of England.
Phil graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA (Hons) Business Studies. He holds certificates in Life and Pensions and financial planning.

Jamie is the Head of our Private Client Department with overall responsibility for the management of the team and its development, alongside holding account director responsibilities for a wide range of client mandates. Jamie is also CEO of Sarasin Asset Management, our subsidiary company specialising in US clients. Jamie joined the City in 1987 and spent several years at NCL Investments prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 1996.
Jamie has a MA Hons in Modern Languages from Cambridge University, PCIAM (the Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate), IMC (Investment Management Certificate) and is a Stock Exchange Registered Representative.

Caroline is responsible for the processing of client legal and operational agreements, management and coordination of new client contacts, liaison with clients/intermediaries, resolution of administrative queries, administration of internal CRM systems and reporting.
Caroline joined Sarasin & Partners in September 2001 and has more than 18 years of investment experience. She holds a BA (Hons) in American Studies.

Henry started his career in fund management in 1983. He is Chairman of the Sarasin & Partners Investment Strategy Group and Fund Strategist for the specialist thematic Food and Agriculture Opportunities strategy.
Specialising in multi-asset and global equity fund management, he has managed a wide variety of funds, including unit trusts, pension funds, life funds and charity endowments.

Megan Brennan

Megan is co-portfolio manager on the Sarasin Tomorrow’s World Multi-Asset Fund. She is also deputy fund manager of the Sarasin Responsible Global Equity Fund, Sarasin Thematic Global Equity Fund and Sarasin IE Global Equity Opportunities Fund.
Prior to joining Sarasin, Megan spent 4 years at Coutts & Co working as an Assistant Fund Manager for the Coutts Multi Asset Funds.
Megan is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Business, Economics & Social Studies. Megan also holds the Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate (PCIAM) as well as the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and is a CFA Charter holder.

Graeme has investment responsibilities for both international and domestic client portfolio at Sarasin.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2013, Graeme was with Brown Shipley Private Banking, where he managed private client, charity and institutional portfolios.
Graeme holds an MBA from Cass Business School, alongside the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma and a BA Honours degree from the University of Sheffield. Graeme is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Christopher joined Sarasin & Partners in 2015. He focuses on distributing Sarasin & Partners collectives throughout Discretionary and Advisory businesses as well as Sarasin’s Outsource Solution for IFAs. Previously Christopher worked at Baring Asset Management and Skandia UK where he undertook various roles including Head of Third Party Distribution and Specialist in Investment Marketing respectively. Prior to this Christopher was a Sales Manager at National Provident Institution.
Christopher holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and a Diploma in Financial Planning.

Edward is responsible for the management of private client portfolios. Edward also co-manages Sarasin & Partners' AIM inheritance tax sheltered portfolio service. He is also co-author of Sarasin & Partners' Compendium of Investment. Edward joined Sarasin & Partners in1996 having spent three years at Capel-Cure Myers.
Edward has a MA Hons degree in Management and International Relations from the University of St Andrews, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (CISI).

Henrietta assists with the management of UK and international portfolios. Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in June 2020, she worked at a family office in London. Henrietta graduated with an BA in History and Politics from the University of Birmingham. Prior to that he was Head of the Trading, Treasury and Asset Management division of Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd since November 2019. Oliver Cartade has held leadership roles within the J. Safra Group for over 15 years. In 2009 he created and became the Managing Director of J. Safra Sarasin Asset Management (Europe) Ltd while also holding responsibility as General Manager of the London Branch of Bank J. Safra Sarasin (Gibraltar) Ltd which he opened in 2007 when he moved to London. He joined Safra National bank of New York in 2003 where he was responsible for performing research on and investing in hedge funds. Prior to joining the J. Safra Group, he worked for Kaufman Bros. LP, a boutique investment bank in New York, where he focused on M&A and private equity transactions across various industries. In 2000, Oliver Cartade joined PIPE9 Corporation, an internet start-up focused on B2B ecommerce, as a VP of Business Development.
Oliver began his professional career in 1998 at Prudential Securities in New York in the Investment Banking division focused on the technology sector.
Born in 1976; Oliver Cartade is a UK citizen. He graduated cum laude from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and received an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. He is also a CFA® charterholder.

Anthony is responsible for fixed income portfolio management with particular focus on government bonds and emerging markets. He is also co-deputy manager on the Sarasin Income & Reserves Fund and the Sarasin IE Multi-Asset – Defensive Fund.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2017, he worked as a portfolio manager in global fixed income and currencies at Nomura and JPMorgan.

Alex is responsible for screening and researching stock ideas from the Global Energy and Industrials Universe and providing insight into macro events and themes which will influence the sectors.
Alex joined Sarasin & Partners in January 2017. Prior to joining Sarasin, Alex was employed at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) for 16 years as a global industrials and energy equity and commodity analyst and portfolio manager.
Before joining the GIC he was an analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein for five years. He covered the EU building and materials sector. Alex‘s career started in the city after graduating at National Provident Institution (NPI) as a UK fund manager.

With more than 30 years’ investment experience, Phil joined Sarasin & Partners in 2013 as head of the multi-asset team. In 2022, Phil was promoted to Chief Investment Officer of multi-asset.
Before joining Sarasin, Phil worked at Newton Investment Management, where he was chief investment officer of the private clients and charities division. He has also held investment management roles at Capital House and Leopold Joseph.
Phil is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Zoe has over 10 years of investment experience. She joined Sarasin & Partners in 2018 from Close Brothers Asset Management where she spent 4 years working as a Business Development Director promoting the full Close investment proposition to intermediary firms in the Thames Valley area.
Prior to this she worked as a Business Development Manager at Meteor Asset Management and Barclays Wealth & Investment Management.

Neil is a portfolio manager for the global equity income strategies. Within the global equity team he co manages Sarasin’s Institutional mandates and retail funds.
Neil joined Sarasin & Partners in December 2017 from Polar Capital where he was Global Income Fund Manager. Previous to this Neil was Global Emerging Market Income & Growth Fund Manager.
He also held positions with AXA Framlington, Hexam Capital Partners, Baring Asset Management and Framlington Investment Management.
Neil started his career in 2001 after completing his degree at the University of Leeds.

Guy is a Senior Adviser at Sarasin Bread Street, the specialist private markets business of Sarasin & Partners LLP formed in 2022. Immediately prior to this Guy was at Bread Street Capital Partners, which he joined having previously held lead investing roles at Aberdeen Standard Investments (now abrdn), SVG Advisers, Hermes UOB and Greenoak Capital Management (the private equity arm of Granville plc, now Robert W Baird & Co).
Guy has over 30 years private equity investing experience and has an extensive and long-established network of manager and investor relationships. At SVG Advisers he was Chief Investment Officer and lead manager of the Schroder Private Equity Fund of Funds and SVG Diamond programmes, portfolios he continued to manage at Aberdeen. Guy has served on the Advisory Boards of leading private equity managers across buyout, growth and venture strategies. He is a Non-Executive Director of Schroder Private Equity Fund of Funds III and IV plc.
Guy has a BA in Business Administration from the Bristol Business School (now part of University of the West of England) and is a Chartered Accountant qualifying with Arthur Andersen in London.

Allanah is responsible for the management of UK and international private client portfolios. Allanah joined Sarasin in 2018 after having graduated with an MSc in Investment and Wealth Management from Imperial College Business School and previously a BSc in Chemistry from The University of Bristol. Prior to joining, she completed internships at Investec Asset Management as well as Whitman Howard Ltd.
Allanah holds the IMC (Investment Management Certificate), PCIAM (Private Client Investment Advice and Management Certificate) and has passed all three levels of the CFA Program.

Ruadhri Duncan
Partner, Charities
Ruadhri has over 15 years of investment experience in the fund management industry, where he has operated as both a fund manager and a charity trustee. After leaving the Army he started work with Leopold Joseph and Sons where he completed his fund management exams. In 1999 he moved to Newton Investment Management, where he worked within the charities department for over 12 years, joining Sarasin & Partners in 2011.
Ruadhri is a Governor of Maidwell Hall School and a trustee of the Army Cadet Force Association.

Randal has over 30 years of investment experience and joined Sarasin & Partners in 1998 where he manages some of the firm's largest private client and charity portfolios.

Ben joined Sarasin & Partners in 2017. He started his career at Friends Provident as graduate trainee and after nearly 4 years moved to Henderson Global Investors where he was for over 14 years managing European (including UK) equities funds, rising to Director and Head of the Mainstream European team. Prior to joining Sarasin, Ben spent 9 years at GIC Private Ltd in a similar capacity.
Ben hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics and Politics from Bristol University, is Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals and a member of the CFA Institute.

Angel leads on quantitative research for the global equity team and is responsible for portfolio construction, predictive alpha modelling and factor research.
Prior to joining Sarasin in 2020, Angel worked at Ninety One Asset Management as a Quantitative Analyst and at FactSet as a Consultant. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds a degree in International Business from the University of Kent.

Mark has over 30 years of investment experience and is responsible for the management of UK and international private clients, multi-generational wealth and charities. He is also responsible for managing Sarasin's Global Equity Real Return Fund.
Prior to Sarasin & Partners as a partner in 2007, Mark spent 10 years at Barings, 5 years at Credit Suisse, where he was Chairman of the Strategic & Tactical Asset Allocation Committee, and initially 6 years at Cazenove.
Mark is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment). He holds a MBA Hons degree in Finance & Investment from Cape Town University and a BA Hons degree in Russian from Exeter University.

Ben is primarily responsible for managing portfolios on behalf of UK private clients and Professional Intermediaries. Prior to joining Sarasin in January 2019, Ben was a Director at Tilney, where he worked with private clients as well as sitting on the Asset Allocation and Fund Selection committees.
Ben attended University College London and has a First-Class Honours degree in History & Philosophy of Sciences. He has passed the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) Masters in Wealth Management, Private Client Investment Advice & Management qualification (PCIAM) and CFA Level 1. John is responsible for marketing Sarasin & Partners’ investment services to charities and not-for-profit organisations including medical, educational, environmental, grant makers and religious orders.
John joined Sarasin & Partners in early 2011 after a career in the Army where he saw varied operational service. Much of his experience has been multinational in the climate of military, civilian and interagency cooperatio. He managed his Regimental Charities and remains a trustee of The Airborne Forces Security Fund. He has considerable experience in human resources, operational planning, risk management, event planning, instruction and training.
John graduated from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and is an appointed OBE.

Colm Harney

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, Colm was a global equities analyst/portfolio manager at the West Midlands Pension Fund. He previously spent over 5 years in investment consulting at Willis Towers Watson and Hymans Robertson.
Colm graduated from Smurfit School of Business, Dublin with a MSc. in Finance and has been a CFA charterholder since 2014.

Brook joined Sarasin in 2017 as an Assistant in the Asset Management team. In 2019 he transitioned to join the Global Equity team as a Junior Analyst.
He graduated with a degree in Politics and Economics from University of Nottingham in 2017. Brook also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and passed the CFA Level 1 in 2019. He is currently studying towards CFA Level 2.

Alex is Head of Strategic Partnerships at Sarasin Bread Street, the specialist private markets business of Sarasin & Partners LLP formed in 2022. Prior to this, he held senior leadership and distribution roles at Bread Street Capital Partners, Janus Henderson and Henderson Global Investors. He started his investment career with Cazenove & Co.
Alex has over 35 years asset management experience. He was instrumental in developing Henderson’s original Asian asset management business, opening the group’s offices in Singapore, Tokyo, HK and Taipei. He oversaw the fund management activities for Asia equities, private capital and direct property (c$53bn AUM). Most recently, Alex was MD, Global Financial Institutions at Janus Henderson in London, responsible for all business with global wealth management institutions across EMEA.
Alex has an outstanding track record of developing strategic distribution and product partnerships for wealth management, sovereign wealth funds and central banks. He is a Non-Executive GP Director of LimeTree Capital, a HK regulated private markets investment manager.
Alex attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and served in the British Army before starting his investment career.

Alex has been with Sarasin & Partners since 2007, working primarily with the Global Equity franchise and is global equity portfolio manager for the Equity Opportunities fund. Prior to joining Sarasin in 2007, Alex spent four years at US hedge fund Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder working with global long only and alternative equity strategies, based in both New York and London.
From 1996 to 2003 Alex worked at Morgan Stanley as a sell-side equity analyst covering the capital goods sector and subsequently the aerospace sector. Whilst at Morgan Stanley, Alex qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA, 1999) and from 1999 to 2003 was consistently ranked, with his team, in the top three by surveys such as the Institutional Investor Magazine - being top ranked both in Europe (2002) and globally (2000).

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in October 2012, he spent seven years at GAM London Limited where he was a Portfolio Director managing a diverse range of private client and charity portfolios. He started his investment career working for Newton Investment Management.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2019, Therese worked as a senior research analyst at Institutional Shareholder Services Inc (ISS), a provider of governance and responsible investment solutions to the financial community. Prior to ISS, she worked at ShareAction, a UK organisation that promotes responsible investment.

Tom is a global equity analyst and member of the Sarasin Food & Agriculture Opportunities Fund team. He joined Sarasin in 2019, initially managing multi-asset investment strategies for charities. He started his career at Investec where he managed private client portfolios and specialist European real estate equity mandates.
Tom is a CFA Charterholder, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (Chartered FCSI), and holds the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD). He graduated from the University of Warwick in 2014 with a degree in History.

Julia Kochetygova is the Ownership Lead at Sarasin & Partners. She is responsible for engaging with, and voting at, portfolio companies with a focus on driving sustainable change in their environmental, social, and governance performance.
She joined in January 2022 from Northern Trust Asset Management where she was the Head of EMEA Stewardship, with engagement and voting responsibilities for companies in EMEA. Prior to that, Julia was the Senior Sustainable Investing Research Analyst for Northern Trust Asset Management. In that role, she was responsible for ESG thought leadership and product innovation.
Her past positions include Head of Sustainability Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices, Head of the Corporate Relations function at MDM Bank in Russia, and Head of Corporate Governance Services at S&P Ratings.
She holds a PhD in Economics from the Institute of Economics, Russian Academy of Sciences, and MSc in Economics of Industry from the Moscow Institute of National Economy. Natasha is currently a Partner and Head of Stewardship at the asset manager Sarasin & Partners LLP, where she steers the firm’s stewardship work, ensuring effective engagement, voting and public policy outreach in order to promote the creation of sustainable value. Since 2017, she has spearheaded Sarasin’s flagship Climate Active strategy.
Natasha has been a vocal advocate for reform of the accounting and audit system to promote long-term stewardship as well as action by company boards to confront climate change. Natasha is a member of the Committee of the International Corporate Governance Network, as well as the Consultative Advisory Group for the International Audit and Assurance Standards Board. Natasha sits on the Investment Committee for the Cambridge Assistants Contributory Pension Scheme and is a non-executive director at Carbon Tracker, a leading think-tank on investment and climate change.
Natasha has a background in development economics and responsible investment. Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, she spent six years as the Senior Analyst leading ESG integration and several areas of policy work at the Universities Superannuation Scheme’s Investment Management arm; and four years in Budapest working with OTP Fund Management and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Before moving into finance, Natasha spent a number of years working on sustainable development issues in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Natasha started her career as an Overseas Development Institute Fellow, working as the Chief Economist in the Guyana Forestry Commission.

Richard joined Sarasin & Partners in 1992 and is a Senior Partner focused on client management while helping develop new business opportunities, which includes Sarasin & Partners’ private equity business, Sarasin Bread Street.
Prior to this he was Head of Charities at the firm following the merger between Chiswell Associates and Sarasin in 2003 and is a member of the Executive Committee.
He specialises in strategy and the management of diversified, multi-asset portfolios for charities. He is author of the Sarasin & Partners Compendium of Investment, which has now been published for 20 years and is Director of the £2bn Sarasin Charity Authorised Investment Fund range. Richard has lectured at The Judge (Cambridge), University of Vienna and University of Stellenbosch business schools and runs the Trustee Training Programme for the CFG. Nikki joined Sarasin from Trium Capital where she managed a pan European market neutral long short UCITS fund. She trained as a Chartered Accountant with EY before starting her investment career within HSBC Private Equity and has over 20 years of investment experience working for companies including Scottish Widows, GAM and Bluecrest.

Erik then transferred to London where he helped build the European bank's new investment offering and later moved to a broader role within their Product Management & Sales division, before moving to Sarasin & Partners. Guy Monson, Chief Market Strategist and Senior Partner of Sarasin & Partners LLP, has over 35 years of investment experience having joined the company in 1984. In 1988, he became manager of Sarasin’s flagship GlobalSar (now Multi Asset) family of balanced investment funds, winning awards for investment performance and risk profile. He has pioneered the use of thematic investment in the management of global equity portfolios and today leads the firm’s global investment and markets strategy for a wide range of charitable, endowment and private clients.
Guy writes regularly in the international financial press and appears on Bloomberg and other financial channels. He is also a member of the London School of Economics IDEAS Advisory Board and a Foundation Fellow of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University.

Hadley is the COO for Client Affairs and is responsible for general management and overseeing the sales and distribution platform across the private clients, charities, retail and institutional teams.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, Hadley was the Division COO for Wealth Management at C Hoare & Co. In 2017, he executed the sale of the division to Cazenove Capital. Before this, he worked at Barclays from 2009, where he was the Head of Change for the UK Private Bank, and led a number of transformative programmes. He has also worked at UBS where, amongst other roles, he ran their European securities financing operation.

With over 40 years in the investment management industry, Gary has held CIO and CEO positions at some of the largest international organizations in the private, not for profit, and official sectors, including BP, Wellcome Trust and the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC. His experience covers the oversight of long-term capital pools such as pension funds and endowments, as well as shorter term liquidity pools and reserve assets.
During his 6-year tenure at the IMF, Gary led the process which saw the creation of a $6bn in-house, multi-asset endowment funded by gold sales, as part of the Fund's "New Income Model". This complex assignment led to a transformational change in how the IMF finances itself, and required the establishment of completely new investment, governance, and operational frameworks within the Fund. Armed with these new investment powers, Gary also oversaw a strategic review of the Fund's own internal reserve assets which was approved by the Board in 2015.
Since retiring from the IMF, Gary is involved with non-executive roles at Sarasin & Partners, as well as being a Trustee of the John Ellerman Foundation, a UK not for profit, supporting the arts, environment and social action. He also serves on investment committees at the Nuffield Foundation and Gresham House PLC, and is Chairman of a small biotechnology company, Cambridge Science, in the USA.

Subitha is responsible for analysing the macroeconomic backdrop that underpins investment strategy.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, Subitha worked at UBS in Zurich, Switzerland, as a Senior Economist for Asia in Global Markets Research and then as a Macroeconomist for Asia in Sovereign Research. She was a project Director at the Center for Institutional Reform and the Informal Sector, Washington DC, USA. She also worked as a research assistant at the World Bank’s Middle East Department.
Subitha holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College, Hanover NH, USA and an MA and Ph.D. in Economics from Duke University, Durham NC, USA.

Tim entered the Financial Services industry with a position at WM Company in Edinburgh, before moving into a client servicing role at Deutsche Asset Management in London.

Prior to this he co-founded Bread Street Capital Partners, held senior investment, product and capital markets roles at Aberdeen Standard Investments (now abrdn), SVG Advisors, Nomura and Merrill Lynch, and started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort in 1985.
James has a long track record of private market investing and has launched and managed investment funds for all types of institutional and professional investors. These include innovative private equity collateralised fund obligations and Aberdeen Private Equity Global FOF plc, an Irish Stock Exchange listed fund. At Aberdeen he was responsible for all European clients’ private markets portfolios, with then over £8bn of assets. He is a Non-Executive Director of Oxford Capital, an award-winning venture capital firm investing into early stage UK companies in the Digital and Artificial Intelligence sectors.

He started his career at Smith and Williamson where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990. He spent a year at the Investment Management Regulatory Organisation (IMRO) on secondment and joined Sarasin & Partners in 1994 where he had responsibility for the financial accounts, compliance, corporate strategy and fund administration.
Guy is a Chartered Accountant, and was also formerly the Chairman of the FSA’s Smaller Businesses Practitioner Panel and a member of the FSA’s Practitioner Panel.

He specialises in strategy and the management of diversified, multi-asset portfolios for charities. He is author of the Sarasin & Partners Compendium of Investment, which has now been published for 20 years and is Director of the £2bn Sarasin Charity Authorised Investment Fund range. Richard has lectured at The Judge (Cambridge), University of Vienna and University of Stellenbosch business schools and runs the Trustee Training Programme for the CFG. John joined Sarasin & Partners in early 2011 after a career in the Army where he saw varied operational service. Much of his experience has been multinational in the climate of military, civilian and interagency cooperatio. He managed his Regimental Charities and remains a trustee of The Airborne Forces Security Fund. He has considerable experience in human resources, operational planning, risk management, event planning, instruction and training.
John graduated from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and is an appointed OBE.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in October 2012, he spent seven years at GAM London Limited where he was a Portfolio Director managing a diverse range of private client and charity portfolios. He started his investment career working for Newton Investment Management.

Richard joined Sarasin & Partners in 1992 and is a Senior Partner focused on client management while helping develop new business opportunities, which includes Sarasin & Partners’ private equity business, Sarasin Bread Street.
Prior to this he was Head of Charities at the firm following the merger between Chiswell Associates and Sarasin in 2003 and is a member of the Executive Committee.
He specialises in strategy and the management of diversified, multi-asset portfolios for charities. He is author of the Sarasin & Partners Compendium of Investment, which has now been published for 20 years and is Director of the £2bn Sarasin Charity Authorised Investment Fund range. Richard has lectured at The Judge (Cambridge), University of Vienna and University of Stellenbosch business schools and runs the Trustee Training Programme for the CFG. He is the Chairman of the Investments Advisory Committee of St Paul’s Cathedral.

He began his career in 2008 as an investment analyst at Deutsche Bank (Suisse) S.A in Geneva, Switzerland. He then spent 9 years at Banque Lombard Odier & Cie SA, starting in Geneva where he worked extensively on developing the Nordic private clients desk. Erik then transferred to London where he helped build the European bank's new investment offering and later moved to a broader role within their Product Management & Sales division, before moving to Sarasin & Partners. Before this, he worked at Barclays from 2009, where he was the Head of Change for the UK Private Bank, and led a number of transformative programmes. Prior to this he co-founded Bread Street Capital Partners, held senior investment roles at Janus Henderson, Aberdeen Standard Investments (now abrdn) and Deutsche Asset Management, and started his career with Franklin Templeton in 1993.
Alex has a wealth of private markets investing experience having led two LSE-listed investment companies (Aberdeen Private Equity Fund Ltd, Henderson Alternative Strategies Trust plc), and has managed pension fund mandates for corporates, UK local authorities, government agencies, life companies, and endowments. He chaired Aberdeen’s award-winning Defined Contribution pension scheme and is current Chairman of the City of London Corporation’s Audit & Risk Management Committee.

Alex joined Sarasin & Partners in January 2017. Prior to joining Sarasin, Alex was employed at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) for 16 years as a global industrials and energy equity and commodity analyst and portfolio manager.
Before joining the GIC he was an analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein for five years. He covered the EU building and materials sector. Alex‘s career started in the city after graduating at National Provident Institution (NPI) as a UK fund manager.

With more than 30 years’ investment experience, Phil joined Sarasin & Partners in 2013 as head of the multi-asset team. In 2022, Phil was promoted to Chief Investment Officer of multi-asset.

Immediately prior to this Guy was at Bread Street Capital Partners, which he joined having previously held lead investing roles at Aberdeen Standard Investments (now abrdn), SVG Advisers, Hermes UOB and Greenoak Capital Management (the private equity arm of Granville plc, now Robert W Baird & Co).
Guy has over 30 years private equity investing experience and has an extensive and long-established network of manager and investor relationships. At SVG Advisers he was Chief Investment Officer and lead manager of the Schroder Private Equity Fund of Funds and SVG Diamond programmes, portfolios he continued to manage at Aberdeen. Guy has served on the Advisory Boards of leading private equity managers across buyout, growth and venture strategies. He is a Non-Executive Director of Schroder Private Equity Fund of Funds III and IV plc.

Prior to joining Sarasin in 2020, Angel worked at Ninety One Asset Management as a Quantitative Analyst and at FactSet as a Consultant. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds a degree in International Business from the University of Kent.

Colm Harney

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, Colm was a global equities analyst/portfolio manager at the West Midlands Pension Fund. He previously spent over 5 years in investment consulting at Willis Towers Watson and Hymans Robertson.
Colm graduated from Smurfit School of Business, Dublin with a MSc. in Finance and has been a CFA charterholder since 2014.

Brook joined Sarasin in 2017 as an Assistant in the Asset Management team. In 2019 he transitioned to join the Global Equity team as a Junior Analyst.
He graduated with a degree in Politics and Economics from University of Nottingham in 2017. Brook also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and passed the CFA Level 1 in 2019. He is currently studying towards CFA Level 2.

Alex is Head of Strategic Partnerships at Sarasin Bread Street, the specialist private markets business of Sarasin & Partners LLP formed in 2022. Prior to this, he held senior leadership and distribution roles at Bread Street Capital Partners, Janus Henderson and Henderson Global Investors. He started his investment career with Cazenove & Co.
Alex has over 35 years asset management experience. He was instrumental in developing Henderson’s original Asian asset management business, opening the group’s offices in Singapore, Tokyo, HK and Taipei. He oversaw the fund management activities for Asia equities, private capital and direct property (c$53bn AUM). Most recently, Alex was MD, Global Financial Institutions at Janus Henderson in London, responsible for all business with global wealth management institutions across EMEA.
Alex has an outstanding track record of developing strategic distribution and product partnerships for wealth management, sovereign wealth funds and central banks. He is a Non-Executive GP Director of LimeTree Capital, a HK regulated private markets investment manager.
Alex attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and served in the British Army before starting his investment career.

Alex Hunter

Alex has been with Sarasin & Partners since 2007, working primarily with the Global Equity franchise and is global equity portfolio manager for the Equity Opportunities fund. Prior to joining Sarasin in 2007, Alex spent four years at US hedge fund Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder working with global long only and alternative equity strategies, based in both New York and London.
From 1996 to 2003 Alex worked at Morgan Stanley as a sell-side equity analyst covering the capital goods sector and subsequently the aerospace sector. Whilst at Morgan Stanley, Alex qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA, 1999) and from 1999 to 2003 was consistently ranked, with his team, in the top three by surveys such as the Institutional Investor Magazine - being top ranked both in Europe (2002) and globally (2000).
Alex is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, holds a BA in Economics and Statistics from the University of Exeter and has taken courses at the London Business School and Harvard Medical School.

Senior Stewardship Analyst
Therese is responsible for undertaking rigorous analysis on the financial implications of ESG factors for specific stocks as well as on a sector/industry basis. She also supports and leads company engagements and voting.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2019, Therese worked as a senior research analyst at Institutional Shareholder Services Inc (ISS), a provider of governance and responsible investment solutions to the financial community. Prior to ISS, she worked at ShareAction, a UK organisation that promotes responsible investment.
Therese has an MSc in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics from University of London, and a BMath in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo, Canada. She is also a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).

Tom is a global equity analyst and member of the Sarasin Food & Agriculture Opportunities Fund team. He joined Sarasin in 2019, initially managing multi-asset investment strategies for charities. He started his career at Investec where he managed private client portfolios and specialist European real estate equity mandates.
Tom is a CFA Charterholder, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (Chartered FCSI), and holds the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD). He graduated from the University of Warwick in 2014 with a degree in History.

Ownership Lead
Julia Kochetygova is the Ownership Lead at Sarasin & Partners. She is responsible for engaging with, and voting at, portfolio companies with a focus on driving sustainable change in their environmental, social, and governance performance.
She joined in January 2022 from Northern Trust Asset Management where she was the Head of EMEA Stewardship, with engagement and voting responsibilities for companies in EMEA. Prior to that, Julia was the Senior Sustainable Investing Research Analyst for Northern Trust Asset Management. In that role, she was responsible for ESG thought leadership and product innovation.
Her past positions include Head of Sustainability Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices, Head of the Corporate Relations function at MDM Bank in Russia, and Head of Corporate Governance Services at S&P Ratings.
She holds a PhD in Economics from the Institute of Economics, Russian Academy of Sciences, and MSc in Economics of Industry from the Moscow Institute of National Economy. Julia graduated from the INSEAD Executive Education Program; she holds a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential from SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) and a Climate Change Financial Risks and Opportunities credential from Imperial College Business School.

Tom is deputy fund manager on the JSS Sustainable Multi Asset funds.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners Tom worked at Vanguard Asset Management in the Investment Strategy Group for 1 year as part of his degree course. Following graduation, he has worked for Engelhart Commodity Trading Partners as a risk analyst and at Oxford University Press as a commercial finance analyst.

Natasha is currently a Partner and Head of Stewardship at the asset manager Sarasin & Partners LLP, where she steers the firm’s stewardship work, ensuring effective engagement, voting and public policy outreach in order to promote the creation of sustainable value. Since 2017, she has spearheaded Sarasin’s flagship Climate Active strategy.
Natasha has been a vocal advocate for reform of the accounting and audit system to promote long-term stewardship as well as action by company boards to confront climate change. Natasha is a member of the Committee of the International Corporate Governance Network, as well as the Consultative Advisory Group for the International Audit and Assurance Standards Board. Natasha sits on the Investment Committee for the Cambridge Assistants Contributory Pension Scheme and is a non-executive director at Carbon Tracker, a leading think-tank on investment and climate change.
Natasha has a background in development economics and responsible investment. Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, she spent six years as the Senior Analyst leading ESG integration and several areas of policy work at the Universities Superannuation Scheme’s Investment Management arm; and four years in Budapest working with OTP Fund Management and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Before moving into finance, Natasha spent a number of years working on sustainable development issues in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Natasha started her career as an Overseas Development Institute Fellow, working as the Chief Economist in the Guyana Forestry Commission.
Natasha has Masters in Economics from Cambridge University, an MSc in Natural Resource Economics from University College London, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Nikki is a portfolio manager for the global equity income strategies and works closely with our existing team of sector-focused Analysts. She is also a research analyst working across the Global thematic universe.
Nikki joined Sarasin from Trium Capital where she managed a pan European market neutral long short UCITS fund. She trained as a Chartered Accountant with EY before starting her investment career within HSBC Private Equity and has over 20 years of investment experience working for companies including Scottish Widows, GAM and Bluecrest.

Ben is responsible for leading analysis on climate change opportunities, as well as developing climate derived stress-tests and applying these to portfolio investments.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2018, Ben worked for RBC and CIBC as a sell-side Equity Research Analyst covering global natural resources. He has also worked in audit and assurance for PwC in London, and as a commodities economist in Sydney, Australia.
Ben is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, holds a Certificate in Investments (Securities) from CISI, a Certificate in Economics of Competing Energy Technologies from Stanford University and graduated the Global MBA at Imperial College London with Distinction.

Guy Monson, Chief Market Strategist and Senior Partner of Sarasin & Partners LLP, has over 35 years of investment experience having joined the company in 1984. In 1988, he became manager of Sarasin’s flagship GlobalSar (now Multi Asset) family of balanced investment funds, winning awards for investment performance and risk profile. He has pioneered the use of thematic investment in the management of global equity portfolios and today leads the firm’s global investment and markets strategy for a wide range of charitable, endowment and private clients.
Guy writes regularly in the international financial press and appears on Bloomberg and other financial channels. He is also a member of the London School of Economics IDEAS Advisory Board and a Foundation Fellow of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University.

He joined Sarasin in October 2019 and has over 12 years experience. Previously, Vincent worked as a credit analyst and strategist at PAM Global Investments. He is a sector generalist and has experience in both developed markets.

Prior to joining Sarasin, Niloofar worked at the Australian High Commission (Treasury representative) covering the UK and the Eurozone economies, as well as G20 policies.
She also has several years of experience on the Chinese economy, both at Timetric (an emerging markets economic consultancy), and at the Australian Treasury in Canberra where she trained as an economist prior to moving to London.

Rolando has over 16 years of financial markets experience, of which he has spent over 14 years as a research analyst. During this time he has covered both equity and credit, with a focus on banks, insurance and diversified financials.

Prior to Putnam, he worked for a small Private Equity firm focusing on researching and analysing potential investments into software companies. He also worked at BNY Mellon Asset Management in a middle office role.

Kwai San is responsible for equity research and ESG research in the technology, media and telecoms sector on a global basis.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in March 2016, he spent five years as an analyst in the Governance and Sustainable Investment team at BMO Global Asset Management EMEA, covering ESG integration, proxy voting and company engagements across a number of markets in the UK and Asia. Before coming to the UK, he worked for HSBC and AECOM in Hong Kong in the areas of information technology and management accounting.
Kwai San has an MBA from the University of Durham, an LLB from the University of London International Programme, and a BEng in Information Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Jeneiv joined Sarasin and Partners in 2017. Prior to this, he worked at T Rowe Price as an international equity analyst for seven years. Jeneiv began his investment career in 2008 at Mirae Asset Global Investment as an emerging market analyst.

Prior to this he spent three years at Isis Asset Management (now BMO Global), five years at Schroders, and five years as a British Army Officer.

James is a Partner in Sarasin & Partners LLP and co-heads Sarasin Bread Street, a specialist private markets business formed in 2022. Prior to this he co-founded Bread Street Capital Partners, held senior investment, product and capital markets roles at Aberdeen Standard Investments (now abrdn), SVG Advisors, Nomura and Merrill Lynch, and started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort in 1985.
James has a long track record of private market investing and has launched and managed investment funds for all types of institutional and professional investors. These include innovative private equity collateralised fund obligations and Aberdeen Private Equity Global FOF plc, an Irish Stock Exchange listed fund. At Aberdeen he was responsible for all European clients’ private markets portfolios, with then over £8bn of assets. He is a Non-Executive Director of Oxford Capital, an award-winning venture capital firm investing into early stage UK companies in the Digital and Artificial Intelligence sectors.
James attended St Catharine’s College, Cambridge University, and graduated with an MA in Natural Sciences. He has an MBA from London Business School.

Artemis is a credit analyst in the fixed income team responsible for Financials.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in September 2017, Artemis spent three years at the Bank of England where she used to be a credit analyst covering major UK banks (initially at the PRA and subsequently at the Financial Stability Division).
Before the Bank of England, she spent nearly five years at Moody’s Investors Service as a credit analyst in the financials institutions team responsible for banks and non-bank financials in Emerging Markets and the UK.

Hugo is a member of the UK equity team and is responsible for the coverage of AIM companies and main market mid- and small-sized UK companies. He is also the manager of the AIM portfolios and co-manager of the Sarasin UK Thematic Smaller Companies Fund.
