three for thirty Investment Lunch - Birmingham
With Sarasin, Nomura and Aegon

AGENDA
- Sarasin & Partners - Thematic thinking: Seeking order amongst the chaos
Tom Wildgoose, Senior Portfolio Manager at Sarasin, will provide an overview of Sarasin’s Thematic Global Equity and Responsible Global Equity funds; how they’re positioned, and the challenges and opportunities ahead.
- Nomura Asset Management - 'India - A slow recognition'
India is now the fifth largest economy in the world and amongst the five largest equity markets in the world by market capitalisation. Whilst India might not become the next China it is an icon of stability across political, economic and financial fronts. But does the country and its markets get the due recognition they deserve from global investors? This process is probably slower than it should be and while investors always perceive emerging market investing to be a risky proposition, the lack of recognition of India as a significant player on the global stage provides the right opportunity to invest in what we think is a ‘higher return fixed deposit’.
- Aegon Asset Management's update on opportunities across fixed income markets.
Alexander Pelteshki co-manages the global and fully flexible Aegon Strategic Bond Fund and will provide an update on where he sees the best opportunities across fixed income markets and how he is positioning his fund in order to take advantage of that outlook.
This event is for investment professionals only.

12.30pm-2pm: Lunch & presentations
