The Brown Advisory Global Sustainable Total Return Bond strategy is an all-weather global portfolio, investing across an unconstrained universe, leveraging sustainable research as a way of driving return potential, as well as looking to maximize impact achieved.
1pm: Rogier Quirijns from Cohen & Steers on Global and European Real Estate Securities
Founded in 1986 as the first investment company in the world to specialise in listed real estate, Cohen & Steers today is a $75 billion global investment manager and the world’s largest investor dedicated to listed real assets.
Rogier will introduce two listed real estate strategies and discuss why Cohen & Steers see favourable entry points emerging for this liquid alternative to UK direct property funds which have seen decreasing support on the back of fund suspensions and lack of liquidity.

About our speakers
Neil Denman, Global Equity Analyst / Portfolio Manager at Sarasin & Partners
Neil is a portfolio manager for the global equity income strategies. Within the global equity team he co manages Sarasin’s Institutional mandates and retail funds. Neil joined Sarasin & Partners in December 2017 from Polar Capital where he was Global Income Fund Manager.
Previous to this Neil was a Global Emerging Market Income & Growth Fund Manager and has held positions with AXA Framlington, Hexam Capital Partners, Baring Asset Management and Framlington Investment Management.
Neil started his career in 2001 after completing his degree at the University of Leeds.
Ryan Myerberg, Partner & Portfolio Manager – Global Fixed Income, Brown Advisory
Ryan Myerberg is a partner, portfolio manager and co-head of the global taxable fixed income team. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in March 2021, Ryan was the Head and CIO of Absolute Return Fixed Income at Amundi Asset Management, leading a team of investors across four global investment hubs. He spent the previous 9 years at Janus Henderson Investors where he was responsible for launching Janus’ global fixed income platform in London in 2010, and serving as a portfolio manager across a number of global macro and global credit strategies.
Prior to his move to London in 2008 with BlueMountain Capital Management, Ryan spent 6 years in New York, working at both Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. Ryan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia in 2002.
Rogier Quirijns, Head of European Real Estate at Cohen & Steers
Rogier Quirijns, Senior Vice President, is Head of Europe Real Estate and a senior portfolio manager and oversees the research and analyst team for European real estate securities. He has 22 years of investment experience.
Prior to joining Cohen & Steers in 2008, Mr. Quirijns was a senior real estate equity analyst with ABN AMRO in Amsterdam, where his coverage included France, Scandinavia and the Benelux region. Previously, he was a direct real estate portfolio manager with Equity Estate and an analyst within the real estate corporate finance team at Arthur Andersen. Mr. Quirijns holds a degree in business economics from the University of Amsterdam. He is based in London.
