Karl Dines, Open Door Policy
Karl is the former head of business consultancy at SimplyBiz and after ten years there has set up his own advisory support business Open Door Policy. Previous to SimplyBiz there sits 24 years experience in Financial Services working for several big name providers.
Open Door Policy supports advisory practices to answer ‘why' and ‘how' questions on critical subjects such as charging structures, price & value statements and building robust Centralised Investment and Retirement Propositions (CIRPs).
It is also open to providers, networks and software and compliance organisations, on a bespoke basis taking into consideration areas such as training, building propositions and advice on product construction and delivery of support services.
Propositions cannot be created without knowing exactly what the regulator expects, that is the core of Open Door Policy. Karl takes his ten years of consultancy experience, working with literally hundreds of businesses and brings it to the wider market, an independent service with no affiliation to any large provider.
In his spare time Karl plays guitar and drums, mainly guitar and has been known to say, “You can’t have too many, you know”. Karl has 13 guitars.
