Oliver joined Sarasin & Partners in September 2008 having previously spent his 20-year fund management career at HSBC (formerly James Capel & Co) where he was Head of Charities. In addition to managing charity portfolios, he sits on the Corporate Responsibility Committee. Oliver is a Trustee for the Hume Castle Preservation Trust, having previously been a trustee of I CAN, a specialist speech and language charity for children with communication difficulties, as well as the Prostate Cancer Research Centre. He is an Associate of the Securities Institute and is on the Board of the Charity Investors’ Group (CIG).

Jamie is the Head of our Private Client Department with overall responsibility for the management of the team and its development, alongside holding account director responsibilities for a wide range of client mandates. Jamie is also CEO of Sarasin Asset Management, our subsidiary company specialising in US clients.  Jamie joined the City in 1987 and spent several years at NCL Investments prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 1996.

Jamie has an MA Hons in Modern Languages from Cambridge University, PCIAM (the Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate), IMC (Investment Management Certificate), and is a Stock Exchange Registered Representative.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2013, Graeme was with Brown Shipley Private Banking, where he managed private client, charity and institutional portfolios.

Graeme completed his MBA at Bayes Business School, which he holds alongside the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma and a BA Honours degree from the University of Sheffield. Graeme is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Edward has over 30 years of investment management experience, of which 28 have been spent with Sarasin. As well as being responsible for the management of multiple private client, trust and charity portfolios, he heads Sarasin & Partners' AIM inheritance tax-sheltered portfolio service. He started his career as a graduate trainee at Capel-Cure Myers in 1993, before joining Sarasin in 1996.

Edward has a MA Hons degree in Management and International Relations from the University of St Andrews and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (CISI).

He is chair of the British Humane Association, a governor of both Oundle School and the City & Guilds of London Art School and a warden of the Grocers’ Company.

Much of his experience has been multinational in the climate of military, civilian and interagency cooperation. He has considerable experience in human resources, operational planning, risk management, event planning, instruction and training.

Richard joined Sarasin & Partners in 1992. He is a Senior Partner and a member of the Executive Committee, focussing on strategic investment, client management, and new business initiatives. He was Head of Charities between 2003 and 2023.

Specialising in managing multi-asset portfolios, he was responsible for growing our CAIFs from under £50m to over £3bn. Richard wrote and edited the Compendium of Investment over the past 20 years and has lectured at The Judge (Cambridge), the University of Vienna and the University of Stellenbosch. He developed our Trustee Training initiatives and is the Chairman of the St Paul’s Cathedral Investments Committee.

He was first based in Geneva, where he supported the Head of Investments for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and then moved to London to grow the investment funds platform.

Stephen has over 25 years’ finance industry experience, having held senior client facing and management roles in both asset management and banking.  He is a member of the Sarasin & Partners Executive Strategic Committee, a Non-Executive Director of Bank J Safra Sarasin Guernsey Branch, and is responsible for key strategic relationships, having joined the firm in 2019 as Head of Business Development for the Private Client division.

Stephen was previously Head of Private Merchant Banking at Edmond de Rothschild, Head of Private Wealth Management at Kleinwort Benson and Head of Business Development at Schroders Private Banking, having begun his investment career at Mercury Asset Management.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Hadley is the Chief Client Officer and is responsible for general management and overseeing the sales and distribution platform across the private clients, charities, retail and institutional teams.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, Hadley was the Division COO for Wealth Management at C Hoare & Co. In 2017, he executed the sale of the division to Cazenove Capital. Before this, he worked at Barclays from 2009, where he was the Head of Change for the UK Private Bank, and led a number of transformative programmes. He has also worked at UBS where, amongst other roles, he ran their European securities financing operation.

Hadley graduated with a BA Econ (Hons) from the University of Reading, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). He currently sits on the Investment Association’s DFM, Private Client and Wealth Management Committee.

Sophie’s main focus is managing and developing relationships with potential clients, as well as a range of professional advisers who represent wealthy individuals and families with a requirement for discretionary investment management services. She is also responsible for matching UK and international, including US, clients with the right investment team.  

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in January 2012, Sophie spent 4 years with a Corporate Finance boutique in Mayfair.

Andrew joined in June 2018. He assists with the management of UK portfolios for a variety of private clients and charities. Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, Andrew spent 7 years working in the financial services industry.

Andrew holds the CISI Level 7 Chartered Wealth Management Certificate, Investment Management Certificate, Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management, Certificate in Securities Advice and Dealing and the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Andrew is also a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Alexander is responsible for the management of charity portfolios; a member of the Sarasin Climate Active Advisory Board and CAIF Advisory Committee, the Stewardship Steering Committee, and Ethical Committee.

Alexander has over 15 years' investment experience. He joined Sarasin & Partners LLP in 2014, from Newton Investment Management where he managed international private clients and trusts, as well as investment models.

He holds a Degree in Experimental Psychology from Bristol University, the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Diploma (PCIAM), and Investment Management Certificate (IMC). Alexander is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
