Jamie is the Head of our Private Client Department with overall responsibility for the management of the team and its development, alongside holding account director responsibilities for a wide range of client mandates. Jamie is also CEO of Sarasin Asset Management, our subsidiary company specialising in US clients. Jamie joined the City in 1987 and spent several years at NCL Investments prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 1996.
Jamie has an MA Hons in Modern Languages from Cambridge University, PCIAM (the Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate), IMC (Investment Management Certificate), and is a Stock Exchange Registered Representative.

Caroline joined Sarasin & Partners in September 2001 and has more than 18 years of investment experience. She holds a BA (Hons) in American Studies.

Isabel joined Sarasin & Partners in May 2023 having worked in investment management across London, Malta, and Cape Town for 7 years. Most recently, Isabel spent two years at Plurimi Wealth LLP, providing private banking services to international UHNW clients.
Prior to this, Isabel spent 2 years at 7IM, managing a range of multi-asset portfolios. Isabel holds a BSc degree in Economics and the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Diploma (PCIAM). She is also a member of the UK's Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Graeme is responsible for the management of portfolios for a variety of international and UK clients. Graeme also manages the Thematic Global Equity strategy for clients of Bank J Safra Sarasin.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2013, Graeme was with Brown Shipley Private Banking, where he managed private client, charity and institutional portfolios.
Graeme completed his MBA at Bayes Business School, which he holds alongside the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma and a BA Honours degree from the University of Sheffield. Graeme is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Christopher joined Sarasin & Partners in 2015. Previously Christopher worked at Baring Asset Management and Skandia UK where he undertook various roles including Head of Third Party Distribution and Specialist in Investment Marketing respectively. Prior to this Christopher was a Sales Manager at National Provident Institution.

Edward has over 30 years of investment management experience, of which 28 have been spent with Sarasin. As well as being responsible for the management of multiple private client, trust and charity portfolios, he heads Sarasin & Partners' AIM inheritance tax-sheltered portfolio service. He started his career as a graduate trainee at Capel-Cure Myers in 1993, before joining Sarasin in 1996.
Edward has a MA Hons degree in Management and International Relations from the University of St Andrews and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (CISI).
He is chair of the British Humane Association, a governor of both Oundle School and the City & Guilds of London Art School and a warden of the Grocers’ Company.

Prior to Sarasin & Partners as a partner in 2007, Mark spent 10 years at Barings, 5 years at Credit Suisse, acting as Chairman of the Asset Allocation Committee, and initially 6 years at Cazenove.

Prior to joining, Georgia worked as a Client Manager at Russell Investments for 11 years predominantly focussing on UK pension funds, insurance companies and Sovereign Wealth Funds in Middle East and Africa. She has experience providing strategic advice on a wide range of asset classes.
Georgia holds a MSc in Finance from Imperial College Business School and a BSc in Management Science and Technology from Athens University of Economics and Business. She is a CFA® charterholder since 2017 and recently passed the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.

Ben is primarily responsible for managing portfolios on behalf of UK private clients and Professional Intermediaries. Prior to joining Sarasin in January 2019, Ben was a Director at Tilney, where he worked with private clients as well as sitting on the Asset Allocation and Fund Selection committees.
Ben attended University College London and has a First-Class Honours degree in History & Philosophy of Sciences. Duncan has 23 years of investment experience and is responsible for the management of a wide range of UK domestic private client and charity portfolios. Duncan joined Sarasin & Partners in 2012 from GAM London Ltd where he worked as a portfolio director for 10 years. Duncan started his career in 2000 at Dresdner RCM Global Investors.

John joined Sarasin & Partners in early 2011 after a career in the Army where he saw varied operational service. Much of his experience has been multinational in the climate of military, civilian and interagency cooperation. He managed his Regimental Charities and remains a trustee of The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Charity. He has considerable experience in human resources, operational planning, risk management, event planning, instruction and training.
John reaches out and supports the charity sector through, events, editorials, training, sponsorship and CSR initiatives.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2004, Lucinda spent 18 years with HSBC Investment Management, formerly James Capel & Co. where she was a senior director on the management team. Lucinda started in the city with Quilter Goodison, having spent two years training as a Land Agent, specialising in Agricultural Investment.

Richard Maitland

Richard joined Sarasin & Partners in 1992. He is a Senior Partner and a member of the Executive Committee, focussing on strategic investment, client management, and new business initiatives. He was Head of Charities between 2003 and 2023.
Specialising in managing multi-asset portfolios, he was responsible for growing our CAIFs from under £50m to over £3bn. Richard wrote and edited the Compendium of Investment over the past 20 years and has lectured at The Judge (Cambridge), the University of Vienna and the University of Stellenbosch. He developed our Trustee Training initiatives and is the Chairman of the St Paul’s Cathedral Investments Committee.

She has over ten years of investment experience. Tania graduated with an MA (Hons) degree in Classics & Spanish from the University of Edinburgh. Kamran manages portfolios on behalf of charities and not-for-profits. Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2019, he worked for J.P. Morgan. He was first based in Geneva, where he supported the Head of Investments for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and then moved to London to grow the investment funds platform.
Kamran graduated with an Economics degree from the London School of Economics. He also has the CFA ESG Investing Certificate and the CFA Diploma in Investment Management.
He mentors students and recent graduates through his work with upReach, Sponsors for Educational Opportunities, and the LSE Economics department.

Mashrufa joined Sarasin & Partners in August 2021. Prior to joining Sarasin, Mashrufa worked at J.P. Morgan for four years as a Senior Associate. Mashrufa is also a trustee and board member for Leaders In Community, a grassroots charity driving youth social action and leadership in inner city London.

Iestyn studied Law at Cardiff University before joining Standard Life Investments as a graduate trainee. He holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), has passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and achieved the CISI Investment Advice Diploma.

She qualified with a degree in Modern Languages from Durham University and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Stephen was previously Head of Private Merchant Banking at Edmond de Rothschild, Head of Private Wealth Management at Kleinwort Benson and Head of Business Development at Schroders Private Banking, having begun his investment career at Mercury Asset Management. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Hadley is the Chief Client Officer and is responsible for general management and overseeing the sales and distribution platform across the private clients, charities, retail and institutional teams.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, Hadley was the Division COO for Wealth Management at C Hoare & Co. In 2017, he executed the sale of the division to Cazenove Capital. Before this, he worked at Barclays from 2009, where he was the Head of Change for the UK Private Bank, and led a number of transformative programmes. He has also worked at UBS where, amongst other roles, he ran their European securities financing operation.
Hadley graduated with a BA Econ (Hons) from the University of Reading, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). He currently sits on the Investment Association’s DFM, Private Client and Wealth Management Committee.

Alexander is responsible for the management of charity portfolios; a member of the Sarasin Climate Active Advisory Board and CAIF Advisory Committee, the Stewardship Steering Committee, and Ethical Committee.
Alexander has over 15 years' investment experience. He joined Sarasin & Partners LLP in 2014, from Newton Investment Management where he managed international private clients and trusts, as well as investment models.
He holds a Degree in Experimental Psychology from Bristol University, the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Diploma (PCIAM), and Investment Management Certificate (IMC). Alexander is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Tom Vernon
Partner
Tom is responsible for the management of portfolios for a variety of UK and international private clients and charities, including a number of the firm's larger client portfolios. Tom is a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Group.
Tom has a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol. He holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Private Client Advice and Management (PCIAM) from the Securities Institute.

Helena joined Sarasin and Partners LLP in October 2020. She started her career at Rathbones in 2018, following the completion of her BSc (Hons) degree in Economics and Management from the University of Bristol.
Helena is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), having achieved the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma in 2019.

Nick is responsible for the management of UK and international private client portfolios, on behalf of both Sarasin & Partners, as well as Sarasin Asset Management, a subsidiary of Sarasin & Partners, which solely manages portfolios for US investors.
Nick has a BA Hons. degree in Languages for Business (German) from Oxford Brookes University.

Phoebe assists with the management of UK and International portfolios. She joined Sarasin in 2021 after spending 2.5 years at Investec Wealth & Investment. Prior to this, Phoebe graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Classics from the University of Bristol.
She holds the following qualifications: Chartered Wealth Management, CFA Certificate in ESG Investing, CFA Certificate in Climate and Investing, Investment Advice Diploma, and Level 4 Financial Planning and Advice.
