Sarasin & Partners has appointed Hadley Simons and Alex Cobbold as partners in the business.
Hadley Simons is the COO for the Client Affairs division at Sarasin & Partners, responsible for general management and overseeing the sales and distribution platform. He is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and sponsor of its Next Generation programme, which seeks to transform Sarasin’s digital capabilities and online client experience, laying the foundations for future growth. Prior to joining in 2017, Simons was the Division COO for Wealth Management at C. Hoare & Co and executed the sale of its Wealth Management division to Cazenove Capital. Hadley previously held roles at Barclays and UBS.
Alex Cobbold is a global thematic equity analyst responsible for screening and researching stock ideas from the global utilities, energy and industrials universe and providing insight into macro events and themes that will influence the sectors. As Head of Research and ESG integration and a key member of Sarasin’s Stewardship Steering Committee, Cobbold plays a defining role in Sarasin’s investment portfolios. Cobbold joined Sarasin & Partners in 2017, having spent 16 years as a global industrial, energy equity and commodity analyst and portfolio manager at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation.
