Chinese authorities have been busy cutting interest rates and promising fiscal stimulus, but this doesn\u2019t yet minimise the risk that the property market slips into Japanese-style, multi-year deflation.<\/p>\n

The question for investors is whether the latest policy moves are just a de-risking step by the authorities, or in fact are they the beginning of a larger and more determined stimulus programme?
